Alcohol misuse and abuse impacts every facet of the way we live, work and play. It is one of our nation's most urgent public health issues. An estimated 14 million people in the U.S. alone are addicted to or abuse alcohol. It kills more of our precious youth than all other drugs combined and it is the leading contributor to violence, accidental death and injury, suicide and domestic abuse. We all know someone who has been affected by this issue.

Our mission is to raise public awareness about the impact of alcohol misuse and abuse and to provide realistic solutions that promote positive change.

What we do is NOT about prohibition. It's about exploring ways to reduce the negative consequences associated with alcohol and to challenge ourselves to not simply accept things as they are.

For more than 20 years, FACE has provided educational resources to individuals and groups across the country who are working on alcohol-related issues. With help from people just like you, we have been able to honestly tell the important story about the dangers of alcohol misuse and abuse. Yet there is still a long road ahead of us.
